Fortune - a great looking apple

A great looking apple with a good taste - the best taste of the apples which can be eaten early (September). Does not store particularly well because the flesh softens after 6 weeks or so.

Relatively easy to maintain, it's only drawback is that it occasionally forgets to produce a crop some years!
