CAFE AT DOBBIES GARDEN CENTRE PERTH
The cafe at Dobbies Garden Centre, Perth was clean, modern but uninspiring. Lacking in atmosphere, it was a clinical execution of Dobbies standard cafe formula.
The food served was good quality. Paninis, sandwiches and baguettes cost between �4 to �5 with main meal specials around �7.
There were three seating areas, indoors, outdoors and in a conservatory. None
were particularly interesting although all were clean and functional.
Maybe it was just the day we visited but the staff appeared totally uninterested in customer service and offhand.This is not a cafe we would recommend unless your sole requirements are good food in a clinical environment.
HOUSE PLANTS
The Perth branch scores top marks for houseplants. There was a large choice of
different plants. They were very healthy and prices were about average for the area.
The display was attractive and looked even more impressive when viewed from the first floor (see left hand picture)
INDOOR SALES AREA
Dobbies at Perth has an excellent selection of gifts, cards, books, indoor and outdoor furniture and barbecues.
The entire first floor is given over to Cotton Traders and furniture.
DISABLED FACILITIES Excellent with almost all areas accessible by wheelchair.
TOILETS Theses were clean modern and functional. Toilets were for ladies, gents, disabled and toddlers.
CAR PARKING
The car park was large, flat and near the main store.

SUMMARY
A modern garden centre with lots of plants. Access to the top plants area is a bit of a
problem though. A full range of gifts, cards etc makes this a good shopping destination. The
cafe serves good food but is uninspiring.
