Mexican Orange Blossom Care and Propagation
The Mexican Orange Blossom (Choisya ternata) is a fully hardy evergreen shrub. This is a superb choice of shrub for any size of garden and requires almost no attention other than a yearly prune to shape.
Choisya trernata Sundance (our recommendation) has evergreen light green (almost yellow) leaves with the added bonus of small white flowers that cover it from late Spring to early summer. Treat it well and it will flower again in autumn. See the main article under the heading 'pruning'.
Choisya naturally forms a compact attractive dome shape and is suitable in a mixed border or as a specimen plant in the small to medium-sized garden.
